Joy Worthington Obituary

Joy Worthington passed away Saturday after a lengthy illness.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Roy Worthington. Joy was preceded in death by their son, Randy Worthington. Their surviving children are Roy (Ellen) Worthington, Cheryl (John) Owensby, Patricia (Ted) Smith, Johnny (Diane) Worthington, Charlene Cruz, Troy Worthington and Rollie Worthington; a sister, Pauline Stieben and brothers, Roger and Tommy as well as sister, Glenda, all of Kentucky, also survive. She leaves 18 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren to cherish her memory.
Friends may call at the Abele Funeral Home, 1910 Cherry Street from 5 - 8 p.m. Monday and for funeral services that will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.

Our prayers and thoughts go out to Roy and the family. We pray for comfort and guidance.

Joy was the Grandmother of our niece's April and Natasha Worthington also, our family/friend Roy, Rollie (Randy) Johnny she will be truly missed by the family.
