Karen was always a calm voice on the phone when TPS school librarians called with a problem. I never heard her upset or say an unkind word about anyone or anything. Her kindness and helpfulness will always be remembered.

Karen worked at the Toledo Public Schools Pearson Maintenance Center. I knew her there when I was in the Heating Shop. She was a great lady who always had a smile and a kind word. She will be greatly missed. I will keep her family in my prayers.

Sweet Karen, God's special one - in my opinion. She was always kind and smiling every time I saw her, so gentle, and helpful to SOOO many. A leader for the children in church and in life. I know her mother was so proud of her as was the rest of her family. She was one of the first to come welcome our newborn daughter Crystal when we brought her home, and she was very young. Bright eyes, big smile, flowing blond hair. I believe she was always God's special one. I will miss her, too, along with everyone in her life, but I know in my heart, I'll see her again... we'll see her again. Rest is sweet peace, Karen. Your earthly pain is done, and our loving memories will keep us until then. God bless Don and their children, brothers and all her blood family. Thank you, Karen, for making my life so much better just knowing you.

Our deepest sympathies and condolences to Donnie and his family and all of the Athens Missionary Baptist Church. Karen was always a welcoming person at the church. She was also a very fun person to be around. Karen was always an example of person wanting to lead someone to the Lord. I know she will be deeply missed by all that know her

My condolences go out to The Duncan family regarding Karen. She truly was an angel on this Earth to all who crossed her path. Karen was always such a pleasant person, in a good mood and always had a smile on her face. Those of us who have worked with her or who have known her are all better off as she left a beautiful imprint on all of our hearts. My thoughts and prayers are with the family for peace. Fly high angel.
