Kathleen
Kathleen Bombrys, age 68, of Toledo, passed away at home on Saturday, December 26, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 14, 1947 in Toledo, OH to Benjamin and Rita (Zarecki) Somers. A graduate of DeVilbiss High School, Kathleen worked in security and merchandising for LaSalles and Macy's Department Stores, and as a receptionist at Flower Hospital. She was also co-owner and operator of Bombrys Ornamental Concrete Inc. on Alexis Rd., with her husband John. She was a former parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Sylvania.
Kathleen is survived by her husband, John Bombrys; children, Jennifer (Donald) Wagner and John (Theresa) Bombrys; grandchildren, Marisa Bombrys, Danielle Wagner, Gabrielle Wagner, Rachel Bombrys and Lauren Bombrys; and sister, Patricia (Larry) LaBeau. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Benjamin Somers Jr.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd., with a Vigil Service at 7 p.m. Funeral services will begin with prayers in the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. and continue with the Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, Sylvania at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
