Kathleen Ann Zwyer (Boday) was born December 19, 1939 to Walter and Alberta Boday, and was welcomed into God's loving arms on December 9, 2022. Kathleen Ann Boday and Richard Andrew Zwyer were introduced by Mary Ann and Al Stoneman and were married on November 9, 1959. They just celebrated 63 years together. They built their house in Monclova in 1960, where they raised their children and grandchildren and where Richard currently resides.
Kathleen worked as a secretary for Owens Illinois and later in life worked at Monclova Carry Out. Kathleen was a loving wife and homemaker. She enjoyed helping her children with their extra-curriculum activities and loved babysitting her grandchildren. Kathleen also enjoyed meeting her great-grandchildren, Justin, 2 years old, and Ella, 2 ½ months.
Kathleen is survived by her loving husband of 63 years; sister, Peggy (Ron) Holbrook; children, Mike (Jill) and Deborah (Steve); grandchildren, Matthew, Kyle (Cheryl), Bradley (Emily) and Ashley (David); great-grandchildren, Justin and Ella; and a host of family and friends.
The family will receive guests, Saturday, December 17, 2022, from 10:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions- Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, OH 43615 (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Roth Memorial Cemetery in Monclova, OH.
Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Joseph Catholic Church, Maumee, OH, in Kathleen's memory.
