Kenneth Endicott Obituary

Kenneth E. Endicott

Kenneth E. Endicott, DDS, MS, age 80, of Holland, Ohio, died January 27, 2024, at Flower Hospital, Sylvania. He was born February 27, 1943, in Fostoria, Ohio. He attended Lake High School until his junior year and graduated from Van Wert High School. He went on to be a three-time graduate of The Ohio State University, earning Bachelor, Master's, and Prosthodontics degrees. He retired in 2022, after a more than 50-year career as a dentist.

Kenny came from humble beginnings and worked multiple jobs simultaneously to get himself through school and make a better life for himself and others. He was proud to offer a healthy, enjoyable work culture for his staff and patients, building loyalty and many friendships. In 1994, he started the Toledo Dental Academy, a school for training chairside dental assistants, which he operated until 2012.

Kenny was a member of the Toledo Club, and nourished his passion for golf, as a longtime member of Brandywine and Stone Oak Country Clubs. He also enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing poker, and his over 50-year affiliation with the same poker group of dentists.

Ken lived a life of loyalty and commitment, sharing his kind heart and sense of humor. He will be remembered for his wide variety of jokes, some good and some bad, for his devotion to family, and as a very proud grandfather.

Left to cherish his memory are his companion of over 38 years, Susan Namay; children, Greg Endicott, and Julianne (Jeff) Boyd; grandchildren, Taylor, Parker, and Lauren Boyd; siblings, James (Jeanne) Rothe, Phillip (Jonette) Endicott, and Arlene Rebeschini; dear friends, Susan's siblings, George (Kay), Bob Namay, and Helen (Royce) Haddad; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services were held on January 31, 2024.

Contributions in his name are suggested to the Western Golf Association Evans Scholars Foundation, 2501 Patriot Boulevard, Glenview, IL 60026-8022, or St. George Cathedral.
