Kevin McGranahan Obituary

MC GRANAHAN Kevin A. Kevin A. McGranahan, 46 years, of Temperance, MI, died Friday, September 16, 2011 in his home. Born January 10, 1965 in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Gerald McGranahan and Sandra Stinefield. He was a 1984 graduate of Bedford High School and then received his Associates in Arts from ITT in Tampa, FL. Kevin married Lisa J. Ambrose on October 6, 1990 in St. Petersburg Beach, FL. He was owner and operator of The Art Department for the past 16 years. Kevin enjoyed golfing, his art, his dogs and most of all his family. Surviving are his loving wife, Lisa; mother, Sandra Stinefield; father, Gerald McGranahan; sister, Mary (Brian) Gray; brothers, Michael and Erin McGranahan and Richard Myers and many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd., (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where a memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Monroe County Humane Society. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com

I have fond memories of Kevin from High School. We spent a lot of time together listening to music and hanging out. There was something very special about Kevin. I haven't seen him since high school. I am so sorry about his passing, as he was a wonderful person, and he will be greatly missed.
