Kitty Rutherford Obituary
Kitty Lou
Kitty Lou Rutherford, age 66, of Toledo, passed way Monday, April 18, 2016, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. She was born January 15, 1950 in Bristol, VA to the late Robert and Ethel (Hartsock) Dillard. A 1968 graduate of Whitmer High School, Kitty was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She enjoyed yard work, flowers, camping and traveling with her husband. Kitty found her greatest joy in time spent with family, especially her grandchildren. She was a pleasure to be around and will be lovingly remembered for her persistence, faithfulness and compassion.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 47 years, Allen Bryan Rutherford; daughters, Amy Schuchert (Brad) and Kami Martz (Brad); grandchildren, Cody, Rylee and Cade Schuchert and Blair Martz; sisters, Donna Mullins (Dave) and Teresa Honisko; mother-in-law, Betty Parrish (Frank); and sisters-in-law, Vickie Millner (Jack) and Patty Schrader (Tom). Kitty was also preceded in death by her father-in-law, Ralph Rutherford; brothers-in-law, Jack Honisko, Ralph and Roger Rutherford.
Friends are invited to visit on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave., (west of Corey Rd.) where services to celebrate Kitty's life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 22, 2016. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
