Lena Ruth
Lena Ruth Stoner, 95, of Northwood, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg Center. She was born on November 14, 1920, in Roseville, Ohio to James and Florence Shinn. Ruth was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She was a member of the Northwood Church of God.
Ruth is survived by her sons, Francis Stoner Jr., James (Cathy) Stoner and Mark (Ellen) Stoner; grandchildren, Julie (Mark) Gwinn, Steve Stoner, Justin Stoner, Amanda (Trevor) Tufts and Melissa (Ben) Herr; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Reilly, Kyle, Ava and Henry; her brother, Glenn (Ruth) Shinn and sister-in-law, Nina Ewald. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Francis; 4 brothers, 2 sisters and daughter-in-law, Joyce Stoner.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday (today), September 23, 2016 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at Northwood Church of God, 1838 S. Coy Rd. Northwood, OH at 10:30 a.m. where family will greet guests after 9:30 a.m. Memorial contributions can be made to Northwood Church of God.
