Libby Lenga Obituary

LENGA Libby L. Libby L. Lenga, 51, of Northwood passed away July 24, 2006 at Hospice of Northwest in Perrysburg after a long illness. She was born August 25, 1954, to Ted and Violet Warvell in Toledo Ohio. She graduated from Woodward High School in 1972 and worked as a clerk at Toledo Edison for 28 years. She enjoyed craft shows, collecting baskets, camping, her lighthouse collection, playing the "lottery", traveling with her family. Her team is the only team --"Ohio State". Libby is survived by her loving husband, Mike; daughter Sara; brothers, Ted (Becky) Warvell, Ken (Pat) Warvell; sister, Darlene (John) Sopko; sister-in-law, Sue (Steve) Heer; mother-in-law, Betty Lenga and her feline companion Kitty Baby. Libby is also survived by nieces and nephews, Trisha, Tara, Megan, Kevin, Todd, Tommy, John, Josh and Matt. The family wishes to express their thanks to Dr. Horvath, Dr. Berdy, their staffs, Hospice of Northwest Ohio, family and friends for all their kindness and compassion during her illness. Friends may visit Freck Fun-eral Chapel, Wynn at Pickle Rd. (419) 693-9304, from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2006. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 28, 2006. Burial will follow at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation at the Northwest Ohio Affiliate, 3100 W. Central Ave., Toledo, OH 43606.
