Linda R. KACZMAREK

KACZMAREK Linda R. Linda R. Kaczmarek, age 68, of Toledo, passed away Friday, May 20, 2011, in her home surrounded by her loving family after a tenacious battle with cancer. She was born September 13, 1942, to Paul "Bud" and Rita (Fleck) Merrill in Toledo, Ohio. Linda was an Alumna of Central Catholic High School, Class of 1960. She was a devout Catholic, having been a former member of St. Mary and a current member of St. Martin de Porres. Throughout her life, Linda maintained and honored the strong Catholic faith. For many years she was a real estate investor. She was a board member of the North River Development Realtors (L.D.C.) and N.I.F.T.Y, a community based housing organization. Linda was a strong willed woman, having raised her children on her own. She also was a very astute business woman when it came to all of her endeavors with the housing market. She enjoyed spending time at her cottage in Lanse, Michigan and in her spare time she was an avid collector of antiques and Indian art. Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Rita; children, Robin L. Kaczmarek, Kirk (Julie Auger) Kaczmarek, D.J. (Brooke) Kaczmarek; grandchildren, Christina Sophia, Steven, Jessica, Amanda, Lillian Rochelle; great-grandchild, Lillian and dear family friends, Pat Bryan and Tina Ceglio. Preceding her in death was her father. The family will receive guests on Saturday, July 9th, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin de Porres, 1119 W.
