Lois Voss Obituary
Lois M. Voss, 92 of Temperance, MI, died Tuesday, January 9, 2018, in Magnum Care of Monroe. Born September 4, 1925, in Temperance, MI, she was the daughter of Ernest and Lona (Barnhart) Hayward. A 1943 Graduate of the former Temperance High School, she married George W. Voss on January 28, 1943. He preceded her in death on October 6, 2015. In her younger years, she enjoyed camping, gardening, being up North in the summer and winters in Florida.
She is survived by her loving children, Carol Smith, Beverly (Thomas) Kruse, and Alan (Cindy) Voss; brothers, Norman (LuAnn) and Glenn (Margaret) Hayward; sisters, Pauline Anastasoff, Barbara Mitchell and Marlene Eberle; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren. Lois was also preceded in death by her daughter, Catherine Schwarzkoft; and 3 brothers, Don, Ernest and Richard Hayward.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Monday, January 15, 2018, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Interment will follow at Erie Union Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.

Lois was such a wonderful, sweet soul. She was a great roommate to my mother, Norma. All of us at MagnumCare of Monroe miss her very much and are so grateful that we were able to share her life with her. Thoughts and Prayers to all of her family.
