Lola Crouse, 86, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on August 12, 2025, at The Gardens of St. Francis in Oregon, Ohio. She was born on March 26, 1939, to John and Hattie (Walker) Coutcher. She was a 1957 graduate and valedictorian of Clay High School. She was also a member of First St. John Lutheran Church. Lola worked in the social security office before her children were born and later worked at Rick's (bowling) Pro Shop. She bowled in the elite Toledo Blade Queens league for over twenty years and also taught bowling to kids. She also enjoyed golfing, and traveling with her husband-especially to Europe, the Caribbean, Hawaii, and Alaska.
Lola was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard; her parents; brother, Dave; great-grandson, Aiden; and nephew, John. She is survived by her daughters, Toni (Dave) Wilbarger and Laurie Crouse; grandchildren, Cara (Tanner) Engle, Kevin (Mackenzie) Witt; and great- grandchildren, Harper and Henry Engle and Blaire Witt; nephews, Dave Crouse, Matt (Erin) Crouse, Nick Coutcher, Eric (Kathy) Coutcher; and niece, Jessie (Harry) Moyer.
Visitation will be at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 South Coy Road, on Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Friday, August 15, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in First St. John Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Lola's name can be directed to First St. John Lutheran Church or Care360 Hospice.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was a really good woman who was always there to help others, especially in times of need. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. And a little smile just crossed my heart, thinking that your mom and dad are already dancing together again, and taking some kind of trip to the farthest parts of heaven.
