FAMILY & FRIENDS:
I deeply share in your grief! I've known Marci as an advocate, educator, mentor, confidante and friend. She has been a source of encouragement, inspiration and support. She often, very candidly, shared from her personal experience and encouraged me time and time again. Our relationship was such a blessing because she 'GOT IT!' She knew what I meant, how I felt and what I was going through . . . without a lot of words of explanation. She made me laugh when I wanted to cry. She helped me focus on the HOPE in what appeared to be a HOPELESS situation. Her life was an open book and she often became TRANSPARENT and freely shared her own personal struggles and victories. By her actions, words, availability, advocacy and example - she earned my trust and respect. My life was enriched beyond words because of Marci. She helped countless people - many who were on the verge of giving up; but because of her taking the time to LISTEN and HEAR and FEEL and SHARE and CARE . . . that sometimes elusive thing called "hope" was once again in reach! I thank God for crossing our path. My life has been made so much better just for knowing her - and I do what she did for me . . PASS IT ON! May each of you find comfort in knowing that Marci was greatly loved, respected and appreciated - not only by her family - but also by more people than any of us could ever think, dream or imagine!
