Marcianne "Marci"
Marcianne "Marci" Pushka, 84 years, of Ida, died Monday, December 29, 2014, in Hickory Ridge of Temperance.
Born June 10, 1930, in Toledo, OH, Marci was the daughter of John and Stella (Lewandowski) Korpik. She married Paul Pushka at St. Adalbert Church, Toledo, OH, They have been married for sixty-five years. She was a bus driver for Ida Public Schools from 1967-1994, when she retired.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ida. Marci worked on the family farm in younger years, and loved her grandchildren.
Survivors include a husband, Paul; two sons, Paul F., John D.; a daughter, Patricia (John Carr Jr.) Pushka, and one daughter-in-law, Donna Pushka; a brother, John (Pam) Korpik; a sister, Theresa (Steve) Baird; five grandchildren, Ben Pushka, Katy Pushka, Becky Pushka, Mark Pushka and Travis Carr. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Richard; a granddaughter, Tracy Carr; a brother, David, and a sister, Helen.
Friends and relatives will gather Saturday, January 17, 2015, at St. Gabriel Parish, St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ida, from 10 a.m. until the memorial service at 11 a.m. Rev. Dr. Michael A. Woroniewicz will officiate. Burial of cremains will be set at a later date in Lulu Cemetery, Ida.
Memorial contributions for Mrs. Pushka may be made to Ida Athletic/Band Boosters.
