Margaret E. EIDSON

EIDSON Margaret E. Margaret E. Eidson, age 84, of Holland, Ohio, passed away May 25, 2010, in Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek, formerly a 25 year resident of Glenview Road in Toledo, Ohio. Margaret was born on February 26, 1926, in South Hill, Virginia to Vernon and Bertha (Smith) Sadler. Margaret worked for the Prudential Insurance Co. on South Detroit Ave as a branch supervisor for 12 years and was also a self employed marketing research surveyor. Margaret was a longtime member of Faith Community U.C.C. and a lifetime member of the 2nd Marine Division Association. She loved music and sang with many choirs and choral groups over the years. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Carl, sisters and brothers, Lucille Wells, Carrie Lee Henshaw, Henry Sadler, Billy Sadler, Arlene Wells. Surviving is her Daughter, Sherie W. (Michael) Mescher, Son, Paul M. (Amy) Eidson, Sisters, Louise Calvert and Dorothy (Elwood) Roberts, Grandchildren, Heather (Colleen) Wack, Joseph Wack, Rusty Eidson, Zoe Eidson, Shane Eidson, seven great grandchildren and an extended loving family of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and dear friend Glenna Barnes Scanlon and her family. The family will receive friends at The Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home, 3453 Heatherdowns at Byrne Rd., Saturday, June 5, after 3:00pm where memorial services will be held at 4:00pm. Inurnment will take place in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the phenomenal staff at Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek for their loving and compassionate care. They have filled Mom's last year with joy and love. A special thank you to Odyssey Hospice for their kindness in the last weeks. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek through the LHS Foundation, 2021 North McCord Road, Toledo, Ohio 43615 in memory of Mom.
