Marie Molinski Obituary
Marie Molinski, age 99, of Oregon, OH, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 25, 1925, in Lewisburg, Kentucky, to Herman and Ruby (Nash) Bailey. Marie was a graduate of Libbey High School and worked as a waitress at Howard Johnson's, and in the Credit Department at Huntington Bank for 10 years, retiring in 1993. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker, she loved caring for her family - especially her grand and great-grandchildren. Marie enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and dancing to polka and big-band music. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter Molinski, in 1995; son, Richard Molinski, in 2020; grandchildren, Christopher Roughton, Jakub Molinski, Jason Molinski, and Ashley Molinski; and sisters, Lila Schafer and Irene Meisner. She is survived by her children, James Molinski, Theresa "Terri" (Daryl) Roughton, Thomas (Jeanette) Molinski, Dennis Molinski, and David Molinski; daughter-in-law, Ruth Molinski; 9 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 2, from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. Funeral services will begin Wednesday, at 12 p.m., in the funeral home, with Rev. Francis Speier presiding. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
Memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer's Association or Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Condolences can be shared at www.sujkowski.com.

Marie is my first cousin once removed. It has been many decades since I have seen her or anyone on my mother's side of the family. But I do remember her and Walt at the holidays over at her mothers house. If I remember right he would get out his accordion and play and some would dance. I was just a young girl and the time. But I do remember that and being in the basement where all the festivities where going on. It feels like another chapter has closed. Aunt Tiny is gone. As is Lila and Marie. My mother was part of it all. And I can still see them all together smiling and laughing. Another era is gone and soon my will too. Since none of us girls are young anymore. That would be Patty, Joyce Darlene and myself Sandi Iler Grohnke. Baruch Hashem
