Michael Granata Obituary
Michael Charles Granata, 49, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018. Mike was a graduate of St. Francis de Sales High School and attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. He was in the National Guard for two years and served in United States Army for four years.
Mike was an avid reader, Star Wars aficionado and Ohio State football fan. He loved music, especially The Beatles. Typical pastimes for Mike were visits to the Toledo Zoo or art museum, or a trip to Cedar Point.
He will be missed by his son, Alec; his parents, David and Karen Granata; sisters, Julie (Eric) Hunicutt, Emily (Scott) Fairchild; and brother, Dan (Casey) Granata; along with many uncles, aunts and cousins.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Blanchard Strabler Funeral Home, 1163 W. Sylvania Ave., Toledo, OH. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Francis de Sales High School, 2323 W. Bancroft St., Toledo, OH 43607.
