Michael Lipinski "Papa Mike"

Michael Lipinski "Papa Mike," 73, of Toledo passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022 in Erie, MI. Mike was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served during the Vietnam War. He was an IBEW Local 8 Electrician who in his leisure time found enjoyment in the outdoors as an avid fisherman, hunter and boater. He also like to travel with his wife Vickie (Parsons) who he was married to from 1969 until her death in 2018. Following his wife's death, Mike became part of a grief support group, WWGW which brought him much comfort. He was a Walleye Hockey fan, and an Ohio State Buckeye fan as well.

He is survived by his children, Keith (Rachel) Lipinski, Scott (Elise) Lipinski, Nicole (Emily) Dodd, and Jennifer Brunt; nine grandchildren, Brock (Shelbi), Madison, Regan, Sav, Aspyn, Cameron, Caleb, Caitlyn, and Noah; and brother, Alan (Alicia) Lipinski.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 2-8 p.m. at David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit St., Toledo 43611. Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:30 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2022 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 5153 N, Summit St, Toledo, 43611, Fr. James Morman, Celebrant. There will be visitation prior from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, Toledo, where VFW Post 606 will provide Military Honors.
