Michael McCrum, 63, formerly from Sylvania, OH, passed away on December 26, 2016 in Cheboygan, MI. He is survived by his wife, Betty McCrum, and their children, Dawn Pfotenhauer, Brandon and Holly McCrum, Michael Corser and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded death by his parents, Harry and Marge; brothers Robert and Danny. As published in The Blade

Poppy I really miss you and so does Garfield. I am also sad about moving. And I miss putting legos together with you. I am really gonna miss the bridge walk with you as we have done it like 6 years together. I hope you got my birthday balloon! I had a good birthday party but I wish you were here.

Poppy, I'm still in shock that you are gone. We weren't very close at all but the time knowing you was great. You were the only grandfather I've ever known. & I'm so happy I had the chance to meet you and see who you were. You are loved and missed by many. RIP Poppy.❤ -Kyla

Oh Poppy how everyone misses you. I remember when I first met you and nana you were always very welcoming. For the many years that I've known you, you never hesitated to make me feel a part of the family. But you also never hesitated to tell me what I needed to hear either.
