Michael William Jr. “Mike”
Michael William “Mike” Rosengarten Jr., age 37, of Petersburg, MI passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2016, at UTMCO surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 8, 1978, in Windsor Ontario, Canada to Michael and Janet (Chadwick) Rosengarten Sr. Mike was a professional pipe-fitter and welder, and member of Union Local 776. A skilled carpenter and “jack-of-all trades”, he built homes and often served as job foreman. Mike at one time showed and raced horses. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. A devoted husband, father, brother, son, uncle and nephew, he loved spending time with his children and family.
Mike is survived by his wife, Amanda (Thornsberry) Rosengarten; children, Christopher, Michael III, and Elizabeth; stepmother, Victoria Rosengarten; mother, Janet Wanzuk; brothers, Robert (Carrie) and Stephen (Jen) Rosengarten; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Sr.; stepbrother, Dustin Michael Wanzuk; uncle, John; and grandparents, Whitey and Mary Rosengarten.
Friends and family may gather for fellowship on Wednesday, July 13, from 5-8 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. Condolences can be shared at

Sorry to hear this ,I worked with Mike for a few years in lima ohio for ineos ,he was always good for a laugh . Prayers go out to his family during this hard time.
