Nancy Smith Obituary
Nancy L. Smith, age 91, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Parkcliffe of Northwood. She was born on March 21, 1933 in Toledo, Ohio, to Jack and Esther (Johnson) Russell. Nancy worked at Jobst as a pattern drawer for almost 20 years, retiring in 1992. In her spare time, she enjoyed decorating, making flower arrangements, and shopping. She will be dearly missed by her family.
Nancy is survived by her children, Donald Smith (Sandy), Cindy Finch (Richard), Patricia Conway (Brian); grandchildren, Brian (Ali) Taylor, Lisa Sedlak, Rich Finch Jr., Daniel Finch, Heather Finch, Jessica (Brent) Poggemeyer, Sara (Andy) Geiermann; 10 great-grandchildren and one on the way; and her sister, Sandy (Howard) Lewinter. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don E. Smith; brothers, Don and Dan Russell; sister, Jackie Brenneman; and brother-in-law, Don Brenneman.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, May 3, 2024, from 2-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be made to Parkcliffe of Northwood or Elara Caring Hospice Care.
