Nick was my brother and childhood best friend and it don't feel real right or has sunken in yet that he is gone so I honestly don't know what to say except I'm glad we were talking because a year ago we wouldn't have been talking at all and the last time I seen him a few weeks before he passed for some reason I insisted on the last thing we did together was to get pictures in a photo booth even though I hate getting my picture taken especially now because my health is so bad I'm just over 120 lb but he will always have a place to live in my heart and will always be alive as long as I am

Today seems so surreal. I hurt so much for my sister, her family and everyone who loves Nicholas. One of my fondest memories of Nick is when he visited me in New Orleans with his mom and brother Brandon. We walked around Jackson Square, ate beignets at Cafe du Monde, and went on a swamp tour. We had lots of laughs and good talks. The boys were so funny trying to see how many Mardi Gras beads they could fit around their neck.
Another special memory of Nick is when he came to Virginia Beach to live with me. He loved his job at Journeys and excelled in selling those socks that was a requirement to work there.
Nick, I use to tell your mom that you were a "pretty boy". But you were so much more than that...you had a gentle soul, and a loving heart. We grieve for you, but know we will see you again. You will be missed! We love you Nicholas!! Uncle Donald, Aunt Patty "Splat" and Kayla

My heart goes out especially to Susan, Nic's mother. They had such an all encompassing love and closeness that was the envy of many. If only everyone had a mothers love like Nic had. I enjoyed Nic's personality and flair. He was so unique.

I have known Nic for a few years now. He was a good guy and a good man for Belle Demon Gardner. Prayers for family and friends of nic's. He may not be here physically but he is here spiritually looking over everyone. My heart is heavy knowing a good man was taken too soon.

Nicholi was and will always be the true love of my life! I was blessed to have been the apple of his eye and the woman he wanted to marry. We took care of each other when things got rough and we always persevered. Nic was my BEST friend and I was his and we had made plans for a beautiful future and to grow old old together. He had been set on starting his clothing like business and with his creativity and willingness, I knew it would have come to fruition. I will forever miss the scent of his skin as he hugged me so tightly and the positive and kind words he would say to me when I was feeling down. I have never met anyone else like Nicholi and I know that I never will again. I knew from the first day I met him that he was special to me and I didn't even know his name or what he even looked like. He had shared he was wanting to propose but he was so worried about it being perfect that he didn't know what to do and I told him that anything with you is perfect for me. We knew what the other was thinking and we would always finish each other's sentences. Even through the ups and downs, we knew would fight for our love because it was one of kind and we are Twin flames and would find each other again in the next life. Nic absolutely adored our fur baby Ollie and he was the BEST daddy you could ever ask for. I will never love another again because he is my soulmate and I know he's waiting for me when my time comes. I love you forever and always my Kitty Kat, my Aries King...my Hunny Bunny and Ollie loves and misses you too. You are missed beyond comprehension and my heart is broken into a million pieces that only your love could mend.

My heartfelt prayers for your family Dave, Sue and Brandon. My heart for you. I can remember watching these guys when they were little. I was just thinking of the memories I have of them. They thought they were Power Rangers and then they made a band out in the back yard using the turtle shell from the sandbox as a drum. May God wrap His arms around you all and bring the comfort only He can, and bring you strength for the days ahead.

Nicholas was my first nephew in my family. His mom was so happy to be his mom! When he was a baby and began to eat purees he loved sweet potatoes so much that his skin turned an orange color. I have many fond memories of him and Scott playing together as children, as well as with Joshua and Eric. We will miss you Nicholas!! Love you!! Aunt Karen and Uncle Steve
