To the best dad ever... 31 years with you was just not long enough. I love you dad and missing you so much already. It's so hard to believe you are gone forever. I'd do anything to have one last conversation with you. One last laugh. One last hug. Even one last debate, you know how you are. I hope you are resting peacefully. Don't you worry about me.

I will miss Norman so much, we had a beautiful friendship, almost like mother and son at times. He was such a caring and gentle person and could really be funny at times. My love and condolences to the family and the many friends who will miss him as I do.

Panya and Jasmine your Dad was a insightful and caring man. You will miss his presence but have his love within you always. My husband Alva Royston and I knew him while we lived in Rochester, we attended his wedding to Deborah. Norman always brought a light hearted and positive vibe to the various events we attended together. Not only was he a "family man" he cared immensely for his community and his friendship was sincere to those who knew him. We will plant trees in a Ohio State Park in his memory. To Panya, Jasmine, Carolyn and the entire Michael Family
Sean and I extend our sincerest condolences to all of you in the devastating loss of such a GREAT man, the one and only Mr. Norman Michael, Jr. We will continue to send up extra special prayers asking God to give all of you everything you need to get through this difficult and sad time.
Norman was like a Brother to me, he was easy going and he was always wearing a big smile. He was a straight shooter so you knew exactly where he stood and how he felt.I respected that about him. Norman had an enormous heart and he loved to talk and never hesitated to share his knowledge. The insights and experience he shared helped me in my businesshe encouraged me (pushed is probably the better term LOL!) and stretched me to do more than I thought I could and for that I am forever grateful. I have to accept God’s plan but I will definitely miss my Brother.gone way too soon. ~DeLise

My heart is heavy.. I lost a companion, close friend and my Universe Husband.. Never been ashamed of the love we had for one another.
Norman said it best in a card for my birthday once..
"We've never been the kind of fairy-tale couple you see in movies. It seems like we're either head over heels in love or crazy with frustration. We're not perfect and neither is our relationship, but it's our. All ours. Our relationship was an important part of me; And I know that I'd rather be "real with you than "fairy-tale" with anyone else."
He was my "Storming Norman" 18 years is a long time, although we almost made it to the altar; our relationship sustain as a wonderful life long friendship/companionship. We needed more time with you !!! God had another plan. Thank you for saying" "I'm not scared", at the YMCA the first time we met; after I told you I had 3 children and you said..... so I have 2..what's your point!!
I knew it would be an interesting journey after that. Indeed it was...
Your family "The Michael's" embrace me and my children with love and the "Lewis Family embrace you and Jazz equally with love.. you both became a part of my family for years...
My love runs deep for all the Michaels. The lost of Norman cuts deep, but my God makes no mistake.
" Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make our paths straight "Proverbs 3:5
Loving you forever Norman, Rest now you've done well..

I never actually had the pleasure of meeting Norman, but based on what I know of the rest of the family, and the relationship and love that I have for them, I’m sure it would’ve been the same with him. I pray that he has a peaceful journey, and I pray for the family to stay in peace. God bless.

He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by names. Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

Although we did not see nor talk with each other on a regular basis, I considered Norm a dear friend/brother. I will miss our conversations, the time we shared dealing with boat issues, sharing travel experiences and being the occasional losing partners in bid whist. So grateful our life paths crossed. Farewell my friend, until we meet again.
My condolences to his daughters (whom he spoke of often) and other family members.

Hey cousin, I know you’re now in heaven, and I take comfort in knowing that. I’m so grateful that I had the chance to tell you just how much you meant to me before you left this world. Too my cousin Norman, I would like to say, though we never spent a lot of time together we spent very little time together I saw that you are a man of love of honor and integrity. I thank the Lord for allowing me to be in a family of love honor, and integrity. I pray that all is well with your soul. I pray that the moment you closed your eyes when you open them, you were in the presence of the Lord, and I thank the Lord for keeping your family in peace and rest because they are trusting that are in the hands of God. I love you. I love the family and I’m praying for all of you. My cousin Norman is in a much better state now than he was before. He is in the presence of the Lord rejoicing with our Lord. Praying for us now to cross over. My cousin Norman is where we’re all trying to make it to heaven for eternity.
Love, Rob and Cheri
