Patrick Frye Obituary

FRYE Patrick H. Patrick H. Frye, of Perrysburg, OH, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 3, 2007, at St. Luke's Hospital. Pat was born on December 19, 1941, in Toledo, Ohio to Arnold and Evelyn (Baron) Frye. He was a friend to many and a stranger to none. Patrick was employed with Libbey Glass for 25 years in the maintenance department and retired in 2006. He was a veteran of the Air Force, loved his country dearly and flew the flag daily. Pat was an avid camper and loved spending his summers with family and friends at Circle B Park in Angola, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents and stepson, Charles Lutz. Surviving are his wife, Darla Boyce-Frye; daughters, Michelle and Crystal Frye; brothers, William (Shirley) and Ronald (Malorna) Frye; stepdaughters, Shawna Boyce and Karla (Richard) Katona; stepsons, Dusty (Wendy) and Richard Lutz; grandchildren, Nicole and Daniel Karscak, Christopher (Lana) Katona, Ashley (Justin) Pfouts, Jason, Christina and Kyle Katona, Aaron and Brandon Lutz and 8 great-grandchildren. Patrick has passed on the gift of life to others by being a tissue donor. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in Lake Township Cemetery. Dear Darla and Family,

My deepest sympathy to you, your family and others that loved Pat so dearly. Pat will be missed around the neighborhood. His friendly smile was always there whether walking around the park or driving through, he was like a ray of sunshine. You and all the families will be in my prayers.

Aunt Darla & Family:
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Uncle Pat was a kind and loving person. He will be missed alot. I will always remember him in the side yard sitting in the
shade at the july 4th cookouts.
That tree is now known as Pat's tree. We love you all. Carolyn& Kevin .
