Patrick B. Watras, age 63, of Toledo passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022 in his residence. Patrick was born in Toledo on June 20, 1958 to John and Frances (Mierzejewski) Watras. Patrick graduated from Woodward High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy where he was stationed on board the USS Horne CG-30, Light Cruiser, home port out of San Diego, CA. Patrick worked #2 fire room (boiler room) for four years. His naval service included extensive travel throughout the Pacific. He had worked for Ivy Steel and Wire for 20 years and then retired after 18 years from the Washington Local Schools as a custodian. He was also employed with Hallcon as a transportation driver for 3 years. Patrick was proud to always display and drive his Army truck, he was a member of the Ohio Motor Pool (A club of Historic Military Vehicles) and the Northwest Ohio Model Railroad HO Scale Club. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

Patrick was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, John T. He is survived by his brothers, Donald Watras and Gerard (Kelly) Watras; 2 nieces; 1 nephew; 3 great-nieces; and 1 great-nephew.

The family will be receiving friends in the Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home, 2907 Lagrange St., Toledo, Ohio on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Additional visitation will be Wednesday, May 11, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 2240 Castlewood Dr., Toledo, Ohio where the funeral mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at a later date.
