Donald P. Watras, age 63, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025, at Northwest Ohio Hospice. Donald, a lifelong resident of Toledo, Ohio, had formally worked for National Wire and the City of Toledo. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lynne; his parents; and his brothers, Johnny and Patrick. He is survived by his brother, Gerard (Kelly) Watras; as well as nieces and nephew.
Funeral services for Donald will be held at Calvary Cemetery at a future date. Urbanski Funeral Home, 2907 Lagrange St., has assisted the family with the funeral arrangements.

Donald, my dear, dear cousin, best friend, and soul brother - my heart is shattered. You had a heart of solid gold and the rare quality of patience to listen. I will miss our all-night phone conversations, and just knowing that you are no longer here to pick up on the other end. You were the best!
