Paul E.

Paul E. LaRue, age 86, of McComb, died at 11 p.m. January 4, 2015, at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay. He was born May 10, 1928, in Pleasant Township to Mearl and Ora (Rader) LaRue. On February 3, 1951, he married Joanne Dunn and she survives.

Also surviving are his daughters, Kay of Delaware, Ohio, Karen of Willard, and Paula of Van Wert; his daughter-in-law, Rebecca of Richwood; granddaughter, Katherene (Rick) LaRue-Martin of Springboro, and sisters-in-law, Phyllis LaRue of Deshler and Virginia LaRue of California.

Mr. LaRue was preceded in death by a son, Steven and three brothers, Carl, Dwight, and Donald.

Mr. LaRue was a 1946 graduate of McComb High School. He was a 1953 graduate of Bowling Green State University, and following graduation served in the U.S. Army and rose to the rank of First Lieutenant.

Mr. LaRue worked at Cooper Tire & Rubber Company for 36 years, starting in cost accounting and retiring as Price Operations Manager.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 8, 2015, at Hartley-Lehtomaa Funeral Home, McComb. Burial will be in McComb Union Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Online condolences as well as fond memories may be shared with Paul's family by visiting:
