What I'll remember most about Paul was his love of reading. That was the biggest thing we had in common. I never visited the house without Paul asking me if I'd read anything good lately. We'd exchange our favorite authors and recommend books. We happen to like the same genre - mysteries. Typical Paul, he loaned me the books I gave him last Christmas. I just finished them about a month ago, but never got the chance to discuss them.

Far too few really decent guys in the world. I'll miss you Paul.

Dearest Uncle Paul,

I can only hope, I live my life as well as you did in the name of christ.

With quitness and unboastfulness, you kept your responsibilities and burdens of tending to your sheep.

You were a great uncle who taught responsibility, modesty and love of family.

You left your footprints for us to follow, for they lead us in the ways of christ.

You are always on sacred ground, the angels have a hero riding with them.

With love and pride and always your niece,

~Heather~
