Don Spencer
October 12, 2013
I want to express the sympathies of the Don and Carol Spencer family to Pearl's family and our thanks for sharing her with us. Pearl was a wonderful person and a role model for us all. While Pearl was on the board of the ISD my then teenaged daughter, now in her late 20's, got to know her. When we were talking of Pearl's passing recently she first expressed her sadness and then she smiled and told us that she and Pearl are the same kind of woman. That made me and her mom feel good for so many reasons. May God bless you all.

To the Albert-Green family,
My husband and I are members of St. Luke's Lutheran Church and I remember talking to Mrs. Albert-Green on many occasions, she was such a wonderful lady. Beautiful, kind and always with a smile. We will always remember her that way. May God's peace be with you all during this difficult time.

Their isn't a day that goes by that i don't look at the mirror and see the whispers of my gramma's features looking back at me. She has, and will always be a part me and a constant reminder to keep fighting for what you believe in, and to live every day to its fullest. I love you gramma and will miss you more then you know

She was more than her Mother and Father could have wished for her. She was the Sister everyone hoped to have in their life. Thank God I did.

Martha and family, Her family at St. Luke's will miss Pearl dearly. Always a joy to talk to and a shining example of kindness, faith and service, and pearls of wisdome in every conversation. The last time I talked to her she was quick to say that despite her health issues, she felt so blessed, particularly blessed to have her family. It will be a joy to celebrate her wonderful life and what she meant to so many. God bless you in these days ahead.

To The Albert-Green family:
An icon, yes! All of us growing up in Temperance knew who "Pearl Albert" was! My parents, the late Walter Powers and the late Minnie Emma Wistinghausen Powers Allison, were also Republicans and Lutherans in Bedford Township so they knew Mrs. Albert very well.
In addition, my parents both spent time in Trilby and my Mother also worked for Willys-Overland!
It should be noted that Mrs. Albert was quite beautiful and always dressed to the nines. My Mother always said that Mrs. Albert was a classy lady and she was!
I thank Mrs. Albert for her service to the taxpayers of Bedford Township. What an amazing job she did putting Bedford Township on the map.
She was the epitome of a "public" servant and she will be sorely missed.
In sympathy,
Evelyn Powers,
