Raymond Reidling Obituary
Raymond "Ray" George Reidling, 80, of Northwood, OH, passed away at home Thursday, December 30, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was born December 2, 1941 in Fostoria, OH to Charles Reidling and Mildred French-Anderson. Ray graduated from Jackson Liberty High School in Amsden, OH in 1959. He married Rosemary Myers August 29, 1959 in Fostoria, OH, and together they raised their family. He belonged to Roofers Local 134 for over 50 years and worked for Nordman Roofing. He was involved with USAC Sprint Car Racing with his brother, Dwight, for over 60 years.
Ray leaves behind his children, Connie (George) Kuch, Kim Gartley, Tammy (Eddie) Farris, and Raymond (Jenna) Reidling; his 12 grandchildren; his 26 great-grandchildren; his 2 great-great-grandchildren; and his brother, Jerald (Marcella) Reidling; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary; his brother, Dwight; his, great-granddaughter, Cheyanne; and his parents.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, January 6, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Fountain Cemetery in Fostoria, OH. Memorial contributions can be made to Ohio Living Hospice.
