Richard L. Jr.

Richard L. Kohn Jr., 51, passed away on February 19, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 25, 1962, in Toledo, Ohio to Richard and Sylvia (Scott) Kohn. Richard worked as a boilermaker for the past 15 year for Local 85. He loved being outdoors, spending time with his family, hunting and camping. Richard had the biggest heart in the world and would do anything for anyone.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Jenny; sons, Josh, Jerimy (Cynthia), Joe, Kristen and Toni; grandson, Ben; granddaughter, Lexi; sisters, Sylvia (Scott), Jammie (Bryan), Karen, Beth (George); brother, Billy (Michelle); many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandmother.

Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Sunday, February 23, 2014, from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home on Monday, at 1 p.m., where the family will receive visitors beginning at 11 a.m. Those wishing an expression of sympathy in Richard's memory are asked to consider the Kohn Family.

Thanks for all the good times Uncle Rick. I will always remember our fishing and hunting trips, and who could forget you waterskiing like a boss. You taught me way more than you will ever know. I hope you find peace on your journey. I love you you and you will be greatly missed!!!
