Richard Lutzke Obituary
Richard Jay Lutzke 1955-2024 Richard "Ricky" Lutzke, 68, died on Friday, March 8, 2024. Ricky was born in Cleveland, OH on December 28, 1955. He attended William Rainy Harper school in Cleveland before moving with his family and attending Larc Lane School in Toledo.
Ricky spent his career working at Lott Industries. He relished summers at Camp Courageous. Incredibly charming and sociable, Ricky was always the life of the party. He loved good music, but he lived for classic TV and movies. Ricky brought light into this world with his joy and his incredible gift of loving unconditionally.
Ricky is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Mary (Wynn) Lutzke; and his brother, Raymond. He is survived by his sister, Marian (Jerry) Russell; brother, David Lutzke; as well as seven nieces and nephews, Julianna (McNeal), Joseph, Charles, Matthew (Norris), Patrick (Sarah), Mary (Shelby), and Sandra Russell. Ricky also had 13 grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Regina Coeli Church, 530 Regina Parkway in Toledo, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Donations may be made in Richard Lutzke's name to Community Residential Services, 151 N Michigan St. # 217, Toledo, OH 43604. Online condolences to

I have been employed at CRS for almost 32 years and worked directly with Richard for about 25 of the 32 years. I will always remember myself as his "soul sister" or "my dear", as he would call me. Richard has left a lasting impression on many with many stories and memories to tell and remember him by. Some you would of had to of been there to believe! You will be missed by so many Richard. Say hello to Jerry and Mary from me. Rest easy my friend. XO

I didn´t know Ricky, but just from reading about him in the obituaries ...bringing joy to others and his incredible gift of loving unconditionally just touched my heart. Thank you for sharing that. Wishing I could´ve met him. Praying to God for me to be able to love unconditionally like Ricky.

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember he always asked me "Me and you, Spaghetti Warehouse ?" I loved seeing how happy and excited he was when we went to dinner at Spaghetti Warehouse. I will never forget his smile and the love he had for everyone. I am truly blessed to have been able to be a part of his life.
