It was with deep regret, that far too late I learned of Bob´s passing from the current announcements at the 4:30 Saturday evening mass. Bob was an important person in my life, as many years ago per Fr. Joe Steinbauer´s request (basically my request) Bob was asked to train me as a mass server. Bob never flinched at the request and very strictly taught me the most devout and proper way to perform that service. For over seven years I was the senior server every single Wednesday morning mass for Fr. Joe and later Fr. Dave Nuss. It was my single most spiritual service to our God in my life . I have great gratitude to Bob who made this possible. May his dear soul ever rest in peace. Dianne Brandt
