Robert Millon Obituary
Robert O.
Robert O. Millon, 96, of Perrysburg, OH and formerly of Findlay, OH, died Monday, July 28, 2014, at the Otterbein Skilled Nursing Neighborhood in Perrysburg. He was born on June 18, 1918, in Linton, IN to Alfred and Renee (Leroux) Millon and was married on December 24, 1945, to Zella Waller, who he had met while both were serving in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Zella and Robert spent thirty-five years in Findlay raising their family. Robert had worked as a tax accountant for Marathon Oil in Findlay. Zella preceded him in death on December 1, 2008.
He is survived by his son, Al (Donna) Millon of Harlingen, TX; daughter-in-law, Candace Millon of Perrysburg, OH; grandchildren, Dayna (Rob) Stewart, John Peter (Veronica) Millon, Steven (Kristen) Millon, and Jacob Vicander, and great-grandchildren, Brice Stewart, Scarlett Millon, and Kendall Vicander. He was also preceded in death by son, James Millon, and sister-in-law, Clarice Lawyer.
A reception will be held at The Kingston Residence of Perrysburg, 333 E. Boundary St., Perrysburg, OH on Monday, August 4, 2014, from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Arrangements are being handled by the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Perrysburg, OH (419-874-3133). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in the form of contributions to the Order of the Elves, c\o 3813 River Rd., Toledo, OH 43614 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
