Robert Stiles Obituary
July 9, 1944 - June 9, 2021
Robert L. "Bob" Stiles, age 76, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at home with his loving family by his side. He was born on July 9, 1944 to Richard and Betty (Kruse) Stiles in Ottawa, OH. Bob was a 1962 graduate of Macomber High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps serving during the Vietnam War. Bob worked at Chrysler for 41 years before retiring. He was a car enthusiast, especially loving Corvettes having owned several throughout his lifetime. Bob was very handy and always tinkering around fixing things. He loved BBQ and was known as the grill master. Bob was very hardworking, dedicated, had a huge heart and loved helping others. He enjoyed country music and watching the CMA's. Bob loved spending time with his family, most importantly his grandchildren. His smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Maureen "Moe" Stiles on November 4, 2020. Left to cherish Bob's memory are his loving children, James Stiles, Craig Stiles and Megan (Johnathan) Burroughs; grandchildren, Sierra, Elijah, Gabriel, Brooklynn, Jonah, and Lydia; siblings, Don Stiles, and Jan (Darrell) Adams; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
A Celebration of Life to honor Bob & Moe will be held at a later date, details to follow. Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, Toledo (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the Disabled Veterans or Wounded Warriors.

Your dad was a kind and caring person. I remembered being at the Moose with your dad your Aunt Jan and your Uncle Don. I had some good laughs with your dad. He will be missed.
