Roberto Ayala Obituary

Roberto A. Ayala, 53, passed away October 5, 2005, in St. Charles Mercy Hospital. He was born in Mercedes, Texas, on October 2, 1952, to Alfredo and Cecilia B. Ayala. Roberto graduated from Waite High School in 1974 and was then employed as a mechanic by Rexam Beverage Cans America for 30 years, retiring in 2003. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars and being around his family and friends
Surviving are his loving wife of 28 years, Maria; sons, Gustavo and Roberto Jr.; sisters, Lucila (Jesse) Bustillos, Guadalupe (Manuel) Esquivel and Blanca Ramirez; brothers, Juan (Zoila) Ayala, Juilo (Eva) Ayala and Jesus Ramirez, and several nieces and nephews. Roberto was preceded in death by his parents and adoptive parents, Gustavo and Adela (Gonzalez) Ayala.
Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., Oregon, OH, on Sunday from 2-9 p.m. with the recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday, October 10, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Roberto's family. (419) 698-4301

Roberto was my friend in High School. He was a good man and the kind of person anyone would be lucky to know.
