Mary Margaret Pelton, age 83 of Northwood, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Regency-St. Charles. Mary was born to Robert A. and Margaret J. (Collins) Repass on August 22, 1942, in Princeton, West Virginia. Mary attended Waite High School and married her sweetheart, Thomas Richard Pelton. Together they shared 51 years of marriage before his passing in 2015.
Mary was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother with a special love for babies. She enjoyed playing bingo, crafting, and thrift shopping.
Mary is survived by her children, Sandra L. (Gary) Griffin, Edward L. Pelton, and Alan T. Pelton; grandchildren, Christy Hinz, Courtney (Stephen) Paul, Alan Pelton, Jr., and Devon (Alyssa) Griffin; great-grandchildren, Madison, Chloe, Bella, Wiley, Taevin, Derek, Susan, and Zoe. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Lonnie R. Pelton, grandson Derek L. Griffin, siblings, Carol "Pug" Mathers, Linda Kay Lupien, and Robert (Kathy) Repass.
In honoring Mary's wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
