Ronald Roberts Obituary
Ronald "Ron" Jabe Roberts, age 88, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Monday, July 31, 2023, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo in-patient unit. He was born July 23, 1935, in Toledo to Dessa J (Stebbins) and Charles L. Roberts. He graduated from DeVillbis High School. He married the love of his life, Carol K. (Day) Roberts, in 1969, she preceded him in death in 2021 after 52 years. Ronnie had many interests, spending time on Facebook, looking up local history, genealogy, reading and following the Detroit Tigers baseball. He enjoyed going to the Old West End of Toledo to see all the historical homes. He volunteered at St. Anthony Villa with his wife, Carol, and he loved feeding the squirrels and birds in his back yard.
Ronnie is survived by his large loving family, children, Diane Burt, Tammy Scates, Sherry Roberts, Steve (Dimitria), Robert (Cesar) and Randy (Cheryl deceased) Roberts; stepchildren, Kathleen (Kim) Scholl, Karen Barto, Michael (Bob) Fox; numerous grandchildren; step-grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; sister, Carol (Dick deceased) Haley. He was preceded in death by his wife; siblings, Ruth, Doris, Donna, Ginna, Bud, Kenny and Jim.
Family and friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, Saturday, August 5, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until the service begins at 2:00 p.m. The family requests any contributions to the Cancer Society. Online condolences to
