I think it is amazing that students of Ms Jensen can continue to share and express their thoughts and feelings here. Lei, Roya, and others keep sharing! It reminds us of the legacy Sam left behind, the lives forever changed, and we get to continue to celebrate Sam through your posts. Sam is so proud of the young men and women you have become. Keep her in your hearts always.

Hey Ms Jensen, i was never in your class but we did chat sometimes during dismissal, I remember the fun trinkets you´d host like "what earrings are ms Jensen wearing today" bingo and how you had an amazing fashion sense. You will forever be missed and i think about you often and how cool you were

Roya it is students like you that Ms. Jensen lived for. She was passionate about others and the biggest help you could give her is for her to know you are making a difference and holding onto hope. That is what she would want for you, for to thrive. May her memory always warm your heart.

Praying still for the family over such a huge loss. Too young to leave this world. She had so much to give.

She was the best teacher I could ask for. I still miss her. She was like a second mother to everyone in her class. She trusted all of us. She made learning fun for everyone. Miss Jensen would include anyone if she could. I was blessed to have her as a teacher. I just wish she was still here. I just want one last hug.

I was very fortunate enough to meet Samantha although our time was short together. Samantha had returned to UCF to continue her schooling.During that time together I retained everything from the moment we met and still remember how both nervous and anxious I was to see her every day. I remember that she loved reading and watching the sitcom Will and Grace! And I also remember how good she was with kids teaching them how to swim. Samantha will be missed but never forgotten my heart goes out to her and her family.

I cannot begin to relate to losing a child or for that matter a grandchild! I know most will talk about how bad they feel and their heart aches and rightfully so! I don't believe there are ANY words to describe this kind of loss, this kind of emptiness, this kind of unexpected tragedy! My God is my strength through all in my life and I can only pray for Samantha to be safe in his arms and at some point to join her friends and family! May God Bless her family and friends and may her loss be framed by how wonderful, a daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and friend she was!

We are so sorry for the family's loss!
My daughter knew Mrs. Jensen from school and she said she was one of the sweetest teachers she's ever met!
Our prayers are with the family!
Sending love,

I knew Sami from dance here in Charlotte. My friends and i would stand on the side and just watch her dance in awe of her graceful style and elegance. She was always happy and had a smile and hug for me on the dance floor. She was beautiful, inside and out and we all feel the sorrow of her loss but remember the joy she brought, even in just watching her dance. She is missed. Always.
