I can't believe it.....I just found out of your passing on October 19th. I can't believe you are gone. I just saw you at the gym and we talked about painting your basement....you really loved your house. We had a good time painting it. I wish your children the best and I'm sorry for their loss. I will still think of you because I will still see an image of you when I'm at the gym. I'm sure you will be smiling down on us. You will be missed.

I am so very sorry to hear of Sam's passing. I was in Maly's the other day to get some products & saw that they were taking donations for someone - I was just shocked to see that it was Sam - I had no idea.
I have known Sam for many years - from Restorations to 180º Salon.
He did my daughters up-do for her wedding - and of course it was fabulous! I always enjoyed hearing his stories - he had such a great sense of humor! He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

I just heard about Sam....I am in shock. Sam was my hairdresser. He was the BEST one I ever had. I always enjoyed our talks while he cut my hair. My prayers are with the children of Sam. He was so proud of all of them and always spoke highly of them

I was shocked to to hear Sam's passing. I was at a wedding over the weekend and a friend told me about Sam. I was out of town at the time of his passing.
Sam and I were best friends in High School. I have a few pictures of Sam and classmates at my 16 Birthday party. Sam was always a great person. He had a great smile and a kind word to his friends. I remember I used to drop him off at Barber school every now and then. After High School I lost track of Sam, I left the state and moved to California. I returned to Toledo and found Sam was a very Successful in his field. I was very happy to see he was doing great. I went to Sam many times for a trim. The last few years I went to Sam, he was always so very happy. We talked about our children. He was so proud of his kids. He would beam when he spoke of them. He would have a smile on his face from ear to ear when he talked about them. Sam was a very proud and loving Father. He loved his children so very much. Sam will be missed , but his memory will always remain. When I think of my friend Sam, I will always smile.

What a shock this was to hear of Sam's passing. He was my age. Way too young....I went to Monac & Whitmer with Sam. He also cut my hair. His warm, kind heart will be greatly missed. I am so glad I got to see him when I was in Toledo 2 years ago. My deepest sympathies to his children and the entire Marino family.

Leisa,Natalie,Nick and Alexis,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. Sam is a one and only and truly unreplaceable, he was full of life to the fullest and enjoyed every moment of it. I knew Sam for a many of years he was like my big brother. We started working together back at Michaels,David Andrews, and Restorations. We had so many great memories, for so many years. Sam never sugar-coated things, he told you how it was. Some liked it and some didn't but that was Sam. He was known as the up-do man. Sam could do any length, color, style, you name it he could do it, he was truly a genius with hair. Sam will truly be missed by all, and my deepest sympathy are with you all.

I followed Sam around from place to place for 25 years, because he was so good at what he did, but mostly because he was such fun while he did it. I especially liked being the last client of the night and sharing a bottle of wine while we talked about movies and restaurants; our kids and our pets. I'll always smile when I think of him. My heart goes out to all his friends and family.

Vickie, Julie, Linda and Families:

Kathy and I are both shocked and saddened upon learning of Sam’s untimely passing. His zest for life, sense of humor, and free spirit were like magnets. In essence, one could say that while alive, he really “lived.” Natalie, Nicholas, Alexis, and Vincent are truly blessed to be able to call Sam “Dad.” We know he loved them so. Cherish his memory and know that he will always be with you wherever you go, now and forever.

If there is anything we can do, all you need do is ask. You and yours are in our prayers. Our deepest and sincerest sympathy goes out to Sam’s entire family.
