Samuel C.
Samuel C. Meek, 75, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Sam,\ was born in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee on October 30, 1941 to Hollis and Moteaze (Lamar) Meek. He attended Eastminster United Presbyterian Church,
Toledo. He enjoyed cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes and playing the Lottery. His true passion was NASCAR and rooting on his favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt Sr.
Sam is survived by the love of his life, Shanna; children, Stacy (Lowell) Frusher, Tracy (Paul) Vincent, Sam (Lynn) Meek and Andrew (Andrea) Meek; 7 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Horace and Gene.
Friends and family may visit Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Private interment will take place in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
