Stephanie Wenzel Obituary

Stephanie Suzanne Wenzel, 19, of Toledo, OH, passed away at 8:55 am on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Ebeid Hospice Residence, in Sylvania.
She was born June 5, 2004 in Oregon, Ohio to Stephen F. and Diana (Thompson) Wenzel.
Stephanie was a very soft spoken, mild mannered gal, yet lively in spirit and a lot of fun. She was a 2022 Whitmer High School graduate, and worked at McDonald's in Point Place. She danced for Echoes of Poland, was a Jolly Rogers Sailing Club Jr. Member, and grew up with River View Yacht Club. Her favorite place to spend time and have fun was Cedar point where she was a long time seasonal pass holder. She loved to travel and had been on many cruises. Stephanie had a passion for animal rescue; she volunteered at LC4Dogs and loved the Kitty Brew Cafe.
Stephanie is survived by her father and mother, Stephen and Diana; a brother, Steve (Lauren) Wenzel; paternal grandmother, Lillian Wenzel; maternal grandmother, Suzanne Jones; aunt, Julie Grover; uncles, John (Melanie) Wenzel, Paul Wenzel, Jr., Keith and Happy Thompson, and Kevin Thompson; as well as many cousins.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 2:00-7:00 p.m. at David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit Street, Toledo, Ohio 43611. Funeral services will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made toLC4Dogs, Toledo, Kitty Brew Cafe, Mason, Ohio, or Ebeid Hospice, Sylvania. Online expressions of sympathy may be made by visiting

i had so many memories with Stephanie. We used to roller stake in my old house together all the time.We always went to cedar point together. She always been like a sister to me. I remember the times where we used to facetime while you were in school, now it´s my senior year without you. We always had good memories together,there's alot of words i could say but i miss you so much, i wish we had more time together sis. i know you´re looking down on me. i love you sis always and forever.You were always the best person to go too when i need someone. But im gonna make you proud. You always did the best when i need someone to talked too. i can still her laughs while we were at cedar point and the all the time we hang out. this isn´t a goodbye i´ll see you later.
