Stephen Piasecki Obituary

PIASECKI Stephen M. "Fantastic and Amazing" Stephen M. Piasecki, 73, passed away on October 4, 2006. He was born in Toledo on September 28, 1933, to Stephen and Rose Piasecki. Stephen was a very loving and generous person who was kind to all and enjoyed helping others. He liked reading and writing poetry since his heart transplant 7 years ago. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his sons, Edward Piasecki and Mike (Patty) Piasecki; granddaughters, Brianna and Kayleigh; sisters, Theresa (Ken) Crossman of Pennsylvania, Loretta (Gene) Narew-ski, Romaine (Dick) Kowalski, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Theresa (Reiter) Piasecki. Friends are invited to visit from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 8, 2006 in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Ave., where funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. Interment in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider Life Connection of Ohio. Stephen's family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Thomas Walsh and his staff at MUO for the excellent care and compassion that he received. "The one who lost, he did not die. His Spirit Lives across the sky. He gave his gifts and many cried. We who lived because he died."
