Susan Snyder Obituary

Susan J. (McDonald) Snyder

November 23, 1947 - August 5, 2025

Susan J. Snyder, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the age of 77.

Born on November 23, 1947, in Ludington, Michigan, Susan was raised in Toledo, Ohio, where she graduated from Whitmer High School. She eventually made Las Vegas her home, where she spent most of her adult life and built a legacy rooted in family, hard work, and kindness.

Susan retired from University Medical Center after a long and meaningful career. She was known by her coworkers as a dedicated, hardworking professional who was deeply respected and appreciated. Her quiet strength and work ethic left a lasting impression on everyone she worked with.

Above all, Susan treasured her family. She is survived by her three children, Kimberly Ward (Mark), Krista Dean, and Bradley Snyder (Michelle); her seven grandchildren, Brandon, Trey, Sarah, Jessica, Rhyse, Emma, and Morgan; and six great-grandchildren who brought joy to her life in her later years. She also leaves behind her sister, Laurie.

Susan especially enjoyed spending time with her family and playing games with her grandchildren-creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love. Her warmth, generosity, and gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

A private family gathering will be held to celebrate her life.

In honor of Susan's memory, her family encourages those who knew her to cherish time with their loved ones and to remember the joy in simple moments.
