Our hearts feel the loss and we extend our sympathy to Ray, Dave & Susan and family, Kathy & John and family, Karen and family, in the passing of Sylvia at this time. Sylvia was like family to us, a big sister, a true friend, someone we could talk to and share our troubles with and receive a solution to try or she would say "Had that same problem, this is what I did." Then too, we shared the joys we experienced, raising a family throughout our lives. She shared and helped Ron, with the duties of the Police Department from the day he was hired as a rookie, to his retirement as Chief. She also earlier did the Payroll and shared clerical work in the offices of the City Municipal Building with Martha and rest of the staff. We shared good times and tough times with the City together. We have so many wonderful memories of Sylvia and will treasure all of them with love always in ours and our families hearts Retired Chief Ronald Bielski, Martha and all our families.

To Ray and Family: It is with sadness that I read of Sylvia's passing. She was a mentor to me at the Village of Rossford and then the City of Rossford. I was the Treasure of Rossford at that time and she was the one that trained me and helped me through the politics and learning the different personalities of all involved. We stayed friends and always enjoyed talking about the old days including our relationship with East Toledo. I am out of town and will miss her service, however my heart will be there. May God Bless you all. Edward Reiter

Aunt Sylvia was always smiling and joking. It was always great to see her at the annual Sandmeyer Reunion in St. James, MN. We always looked forward to seeing her there.
Condolences to all of the family.
Love and prayers to you all.
