Terry Hazel Obituary
Terry N.
Terry N. Hazel, 68, of Walbridge, Ohio passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. He was born in Toledo on August 17, 1945, to Edmond and Vera (Heath) Hazel and served our country in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. Terry retired in 2005 as a conductor for Norfolk Southern Railroad. He was a 32nd degree Mason with Paragon Masonic Lodge #788 F. & A.M., a member of the Zenobia Shrine, the VFW Post 9963 in Walbridge, UTU Local 2 and was a past volunteer with the Northwood Fire Department.
Terry is survived by his loving wife, Anna L. (Whitacre) Hazel; daughter, Kim (Jeri) Hazel; stepdaughter, Theresa Winebernner; step grandchildren, Walter and Samuel Winebernner and Michael Tovatt Jr. and brothers, Thomas (Beverly) Hazel and John (Naomi) Hazel. He was preceded in death by stepson, Michael Tovatt; parents and siblings, Sharon, Alvin and Elsie.
In honoring Terry's wishes there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at Lake Twp. Cemetery this year in late July. Friends may contact Freck Funeral Chapel (419-693-9304) in July as to the time and date of his graveside service. Memorial contributions may be made in Terry's name to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
