It was the early/mid 1970's and Tim had just started his first job in the coin industry. The company he worked for sent him to a coin show in Manhattan. When he walked in the only people he saw anywhere near his age were my long time partner Steve and myself. He came over and introduced himself. We started talking, did some business, and that was the start of a 50 year friendship. Over those years we did some great business, had some pretty crazy adventures along the way, and supported each other through some rough times. RIP my friend. My deepest condolences to Beth and the boys.

I knew our friend Tim for many decades. Usually visited with him at all the shows.
I remember him best for his genuine connected nature, his integrity, and his always friendly upbeat attitude. And that warm welcoming smile.
His passing is such a stark reminder of how fragile and tenuous our life is.
And that we'd better live every day to the fullest. My thoughts go out to Beth and Erica and Kylie.

Tim and I were colleagues for well over 40 years. Always a gentleman, he was admired and appreciated by the numismatic fraternity. My sincere condolences to the family.
