Tracy Carr-Lett Obituary

Tracy A. Carr-Lett

Tracy A. Carr-Lett, 56, passed away on March 22, 2025, in Toledo. She was born to Robert J. and Ruth Ann (Harley) Carr, Sr., who both survive her, on September 9, 1968, in Toledo. She earned her Bachelor of Nursing and worked for over 20 years at Toledo Hospital as the Director of Orthopedics. She later went on to work at Kroger where she worked the last six years.

Tracy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She liked to take bubble baths, kayaking and camping with her sons, swimming, reading, doing puzzles and playing board games, and she loved being around the water. She was loving, kindhearted, compassionate, silly, accepting of everyone, the sweetest person you would ever meet, and she was a work mom to all the younger people she worked with. Family was always her number one priority.

She is survived by her sons, Brenden, Trevor and Logan Lett; brothers, Robert (Dawn) Carr, Jr., Anthony (Kathy) Carr, James Carr; sisters, Katherine (Daniel) Solarek and Elizabeth (Brad) Bowman; fiancé, Gary Eber; 2 step-daughters; 3 step-grandchildren; 4 Godchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunt, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; uncle, John B. Carr; and cousin, Edward Ligman.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., at Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 W. Sylvania Ave., where a prayer service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will begin at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 2240 Castlewood. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Toledo Fire & Rescue Department, Station #72.

My deepest condolences to everyone. My heart aches at the loss of such a beautiful person inside and out. I have treasured memories from our youth of spending summers with Tracy, Bobby, and Tony. Tracy taught me how to sew and make pillows, and we painted ceramics, did each others' hair, and simply enjoyed our time together. She was an awesome cousin. My love and condolences to all of you!

A few words can only begin to express the loss felt with Tracy´s passing. I´m grateful for all the special memories I have and the time spent together especially when she was growing up. She was the sweetest person I´ve ever known; such a big heart full of love. She will forever be in my heart and greatly missed. Love Aunt Rita Harley
