Ursula King Obituary

KING Ursula G. Ursula G. King, age 90, of Toledo, Ohio, died Saturday, January 12, 2008. She was born in Toledo on March 25, 1917, to Fredericke and Helene Brausieck. Ursula proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp. during WW II. She was employed with Gladieux Food Services in accounts payable dept. for more than 30 years. She loved going to bingo, traveling, the casinos and spending time with her family. Ursula was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ralph King. She is survived by her son, Ronald (Jackie) King Sr.; grandchildren, Nicole King (future husband, Matthew Overhulse), Ronald (Amanda) King Jr.; great-grandchildren, Tyler Lewandowski and Abigail King. Visitation will be at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd. (at Alexis) 419-473-1301 on Monday, January 14 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Jerry Craig officiating. Interment Toledo Memorial Park.

Ursula was my Mother's cousin (Margaret Nixon) and went to Libby High School with her and her sister Verlyn(Best). My prayers and condolences to the King family.

I will always cherish the wonderful memories I have of my dear Aunt Urs. She was one of the kindest people I know. As I was growing up, my family and I had soooo many fun and memorable times together with her. She sure loved to laugh, that is what I'll remember the most about her... her sense of humor!
