Victoria Schnapp Obituary

SCHNAPP Victoria Virginia Victoria Virginia (Faber) Schnapp departed this earth on July 3, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert James Schnapp Sr.; father, Nicholas Joseph Faber; mother, Esther Martha (Stevenson) Faber and sister, Kathryn (Patrick deceased) Corrigan. Surviving are her siblings, Margaret (Hugh deceased) Dupuis, Irene (Harold deceased) Rogers, Robert (Mimi) Faber. She also leaves to mourn her passing, 6 children, Robert (Marilyn) Schnapp, Peter (Carol) Schnapp, Judith Schnapp, Martha Schnapp, John Schnapp, Paul Schnapp; grandchildren, Michelle (Anthony) Peace, Liana (Jay) Carr, Jamie Schnapp, Craig, Brock (Christine) Jaworski, Kathleen (Joe) Jeffries, Michael (Susan) Schnapp, Laura Schnapp, Julie Schnapp, Caitlin Rose Schnapp and 9 great-grand-children. She attended St. James elementary school where she sang in the choir. She attended and graduated from Notre Dame Academy. Victoria was a secretary at Surface Combustion until she married. She traveled with her husband while he served in the Army until he was stationed overseas. She loved to dance and sing, and especially enjoyed attending musicals. She attended St. Catherine Church until her illness prevented her from going. We would like to extend our gratitude to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. We would also like to thank the staff at the Manor of Perrysburg for the support and kindness given to her daughter throughout Victoria's lengthy illness. Special thanks to Diane Brunner, Kelly RN, Mary (Social worker), Nan (Social worker), Joanne Beavers and Mr. and Mrs. Penske for the angels of love and for always being there. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in St. Catherine Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. Friends are invited to visit from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Avenue. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences may be sent at www.ansberg-west.com
